Milwaukee introduces M12 FUEL Sub-Compact Impact Wrenches

Milwaukee Tool continues to drive innovation in cordless impact wrenches with the recent addition of two new sub-compact models to their range - the M12 FUEL 3/8-inch Sub-Compact Impact Wrench and M12 FUEL 1/4-inch Sub-Compact Impact Wrench.

Bridging the gap between ratchets and standard impact wrenches, this new sub-compact pair are ideal for mechanics and vehicle technicians involved in confined under-bonnet work and light-duty tasks, like bumper replacements, brake caliper alignments and suspension adjustments.

Milwaukee’s most compact impact wrenches, the M12 FUEL Sub-Compact Impact Wrenches solve common frustrations with size, weight and productivity.

Fitting into the tightest spaces without the need for extensions, swivels, or adapters, this impressive usability is matched with excellent performance. While small in stature, these units are big in power, delivering up to 135Nm of nut-busting torque in the 1/4-inch and up to 305Nm in the 3/8-inch.

Each unit’s light weight - 0.68kg for the 1/4-inch, 0.72kg for the 3/8-inch (w/o battery) - reduces user fatigue, too.

Operational features include 4-Mode DRIVE CONTROL that offers precision and adaptability. An AUTO SHUT-OFF mode limits torque for hand-tight applications, while a bolt removal mode delivers maximum RPM when releasing tight bolts, then slows down RPM once loosened to prevent fasteners from falling.

A Protective Boot that’s available separately for both new M12 FUEL Sub-Compact Impact Wrenches features a durable proprietary rubber design that’s form-fitting and lightweight. Safeguarding both the tool and work surface, the Protective Boot also withstands corrosive materials commonly found in workshop environments.
