Street Rodder transmissions are designed with a TCI automatic valve body that contains a valve body improver kit. This fully automatic valve body retains the stock shift pattern, yet provides you with a firmer shift (not too harsh). For the system to operate properly, all throttle linkage, vacuum lines and kickdown components must be connected.
The Street Rodder transmission features: special clutches and bands, improved lubrication system, chrome-plated, TCI logo transmission pan, increased thrust capacity, more torque capacity with less slippage, as well as being TCI factory blueprinted, inspected and dyno tested.
