Description

The CHI raised inlet aluminium 23 degree head was designed for racers looking for more power without the added cost of building a new motor.

The CHI RI head uses the same components as a standard 23 degree head (pistons, rockers, inlet and exhaust manifolds). But because inlet ports have been raised .200? much higher flow figures can be achieved. The RI Head also takes advantage of the higher flowing 40/60 valve spacing. Suitable on engines 330 – 430 cu inch. CHI heads can be supplied CNC ported in a number of port sizes to suit your application.

CHI 23 Degree Raised Intake Heads unique intake flange allow for regular 23 degree intake manifolds to be employed with the use of manifold spacers, we have added additional material to the intake face lifting regular manifold up to align with our 0.200” higher intake ports,

Available in a 220cc as cast port or various CNC ported options these 23 degree raised intake heads represent a significant performance advantage for circle track and drag racers over regular 23 degree chevy heads.

Featuring a 40/60 valve spacing these heads further unlock the full flow potential of 23 degree heads, but do require offset rockers.

As standard with all CHI heads our 23 degree raised intake heads come with CNC chamber maching and extra thick decks suitable for nitrous or forced induction applications.

You have the option of bare or assembled heads ready to bolt on. CHI 23 degree heads do not require any custom components, ductile iron intake seats, high nickel exhaust seats and CHE bronze alloy valve guides come as standard. Beryllium Copper seats are available upon request.
