Crane rugged steel valve spring retainers are made from high-quality steel bar stock. Heat-treated for maximum strength and durability, most are also black oxide coated to resist corrosion. Numerous options are available, including inside and outside diameters, with stock, 7 degree, or 10 degree lock style tapers. Various retainers will work with single, dual, and/or triple springs--standard or conical; a few applications are titanium.
