TCI® manufactures two styles of clutch hubs for the aluminum case Powerglide transmission. We offer a stress-proof steel (part# 748300 and 748310) and a 7075-T6 aluminum hub (part# 747300). Both units have been 'beefed up' in the radius area for extra strength to eliminate the breakage between the hub center and the input shaft spline area. These hubs have been designed to accept up to six clutch plates but will function properly with fewer plates.
