If Your Diesel Shows Signs Of Leaking Seals There Are Three Options Available
Option 1 The first and easiest option would be to add Liquid Intelligence 229 to your fuel.
The ester and phenol additives will rejuvenate dried and hardened Nitrile and Viton seals in a diesel fuel pump system within 24 to 48 hours.
As long as the seals are not mechanically unsound but just dried and hard then there is every chance it will eliminate the fuel leak.
Option 2 The second option is to disconnect the fuel line from the most convenient place between the fuel tank and the pump… put the fuel line into the Liquid Intelligence 229 and then crank the engine over and suck the 229 into the pump.
Once it’s in the pump leave in there for a minimum of 48 hours or as long as possible.
If you would like to recover the 229 to be used again in the future after it has done its job, disconnect the fuel line on the other side of the pump then and crank it back into the container.
